- Registered 2[?] December 1921, 9:15. He died “yesterday” at 21:00, so on about 1 Dec 1921, at Avane no. 88.
- Braccioli Giovanni, aged 72 (b. c. 1849), minatore[?] (reading uncertain, possibly muratore), resident and born in Avane.
- Son of the late Emilio Braccioli, labourer, and the late [Barsanti?] Maria Vittoria, who kept house. Marito di Maffei Teresa: Teresa was still alive in Dec 1921.
- Declarants: Raffaelli Leonello (22, labourer) and Achille Del Zoppo (38, postman[?]). Witnesses: Marzanti Carlo (mason) and Colombani Ciello (clog-maker).
→ This adds a generation: Maria’s paternal grandparents were Emilio Braccioli and Maria Vittoria [Barsanti?]. Maria’s maternal grandfather was Antonio Maffei (from her 1889 birth act).
To do: find Teresa Maffei’s death in Vecchiano (between Dec 1921 and Jul 1930; her 1930 passport says “fu”).

- Groom: Braccioli Giovanni, single, 30 (b. c. 1852), cavatore (quarryman), born and living in Avane. Son of the late Emilio and the late Barsanti Vittoria.
- Bride: Maffei Teresa, single, 36 (b. c. 1846), donna di casa, born and living in Avane. Daughter of the late Antonio and of Raffaelli Pasqua, still alive and living in Avane.
- Witnesses: Pietrini Oreste (28, clerk) and Papini Claudio (28, farmer). Banns posted Sundays 13 and 20 Nov 1881. Both spouses illiterate.
Corrections to the notes above: Giovanni’s mother is Vittoria Barsanti (confirmed). Giovanni was born c. 1852 (age 30 in 1882), not 1849.

Teresa was 43 when Maria was born. Maria may have been the only surviving child, as no other births are indexed (the Vecchiano births index for 1866–1910 is partial).
